The Governor's Office of Indian Affairs and the Montana Department of Transportation - Small Business Program are collaborating to bring you an exciting conference!  Join us for 1 day or all 3 days to learn from the knowledge and experience of subject matter experts and each other.  Highlights of the conference are below or click here for the agenda.

Tuesday, February 12th 

Tribal Relations Training (7:30 am - 4:00 pm)

Come experience and learn about Montana's Tribal Nations and become a Partner in Building a Stronger Montana.  The training includes topics on How to Conduct Business in Indian Country and keynote speakers on Entrepreneurship and Government Relations.

Small Business Social (6:00 - 8:00 pm)

Lieutenant Governor Cooney is joining us to kick off the 2019 Small Business Summit at Exploration Works.  Explore the museum, socialize with your elected officials, enjoy drinks and appetizers, and listen to some home-grown tunes.

Wednesday, February 13th

Small Business Summit (7:30 am - 4:30 pm)

This year's Keynote Speaker, Steve Beck, is an author, master facilitator and coach who brings more than 20 years of corporate executive experience to his programs and events.  People who have attended Steve's presentations have described him as "Wildly entertaining, engaging, funny, and highly motivational."

There will also be several breakout sessions on topics such as Bonding, Marketing, Human Resources, Cyber Security and more.

Thursday, February 14th

Small Business Summit (7:30 am - 1:00 pm)

Steve Beck will kick off the morning and is followed by more great breakout sessions including Contract Law, Employee Retention, and Doing Business with the State of Montana.

EEO Training (1:15 pm - 3:15 pm)

Nicole Cosby, EEO Specialist Supervisor, with the Montana Department of Transportation (MDT), Office of Civil Rights will present a 2-hour training course with a focus on EEO requirements on MDT contracts.
